Student Success Day - Feb 22, 2010 |

All middle schools in Chilliwack will be hosting a Student Success Day on February 22, 2010. Regular classes will not be occurring this day; however, there will be a number of students who will be working on outstanding assignments, projects or completing tests or quizzes.
Mt. Slesse teaching staff will also be working on student file reviews of ‘at risk’ students as well as team meetings to assist with planning and support strategies for those students in need.
Parents/Guardians of those students that are required to attend Student Success Day were contacted by the school prior to Feb 19 |

Wireless Access For Personal Computers Now Available |
As mentioned in our November newsletter, there are a number of students that are bringing personal laptops or netbooks to classes for school work. We now have a procedure to allow students to gain internet access via our public wireless connection during class time while under the supervision of their teacher. The guidelines for student use is similar to our Acceptable Use for Computer Network and Internet Access Policy found in the student agenda books.
Parental consent and registration of the student's laptop/netbook will be requirements to access a wireless connection.
